THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF MEDIATION

Mediation is a voluntary process and anyone, including the mediator, can withdraw from the process at any time.

Mediation is a confidential process between participants and you decide how and when information is shared with the other involved  in the dispute.  Exceptions apply where there is a disclosure to the mediator under the Proceeds of Crime Act and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.

The mediator is neutral, impartial and will not take sides.
